Two summers ago we decided to spend ten days on the main island of Mahe, where we satyed at Le Meridien Fisherman's Cove which is located in the beautiful beach of Beau Vallon.
(Another beautiful hotel is the Four Seasons overlooking the spectacular beach of Anse soleil, but it's definitely overpriced).
Unfortunately we had not time to move on Prasline and La Digue but i had heard contrasting opinions.
What impressed me about this place is the total absence of sun, but be careful beacause the burs are frequent, and the sea which is one of the most dangerous in the world. In fact our hotel posted a sign showing the fishes and marine plants which could be found and explaining that almost all these were fatal.
Another characteristic of the place is the population's rudeness...and other tourist have confirmed the same thing. It was very unpleasant!
It was a nice journey but in my opinion too emphasized for what it offers. The only positive note is the brilliant nature and the magnificent giant tortoises, especially visible on Praslin island.
An advice? Before planning a vacation in Seychelles think how many other places you've not visited yet!!!
